NEW AEW Faction Plans Revealed & More Wrestling News
Adam Cole’s Return to AEW
There has been a lot of talk about Adam Cole—his recovery, his relationship with Britt Baker, and where he fits into the modern AEW landscape. I’m not one to delve into personal relationships, but it’s relevant to mention that fans are concerned about where Cole stands in AEW, especially since so much time has passed since he last appeared on TV.
With names like Okada, Will Ospreay, Hangman Page, and Swerve Strickland dominating the top of the card, many fans wonder how Adam Cole will fit back into AEW. At one point, he seemed destined to be AEW World Champion, but health concerns put those plans on hold. Now, with stars like Darby Allin, Jon Moxley, and Bryan Danielson in the title picture, it’s unclear where Cole stands.
Here’s something controversial I want to throw out there: maybe Adam Cole’s time in AEW should come to an end. While I know he’s signed with the company for a while, it might make sense for him to return to WWE. Triple H has always favored Adam Cole, and while I’m not necessarily saying he’ll be a world champion in WWE, he was booked incredibly well under Triple H’s leadership. Tony Khan has done great things for AEW, but with all the changes the company has undergone, I’m unsure if Cole can reclaim his former momentum.
