About Nadra Pakistan

The National database registration authority NADRA is an independent and autonomous agency in Pakistan that operates under the supervision of the interior secretary. It is responsible for managing government database and maintaning the registration record of all Pakistani citizens. Tariq malik currently serves as the chairman of NADRA.

NADRA plays a crucial role in issuing computerized national identify cards to Pakistani citizens, it ensures that the citizen sensitive information is updated in the government database and takes measures to safeguard their national identities from theft and fraud.
